CRIMSON ROMANCE SWEET SAVINGS--LAST WEEKII
I know you have seen this pretty pink banner at the top of my website pages the last three weeks. This is an amazing sale Crimson Romance is hosting for the month of February on AMAZON. There are over 400 wonderful ebooks for only $1.99 in every genre:historical, contemporary, paranormal and suspense. This is a great time to fill up your E-reader with authors you love [and I hope I'm on that list] as well as get to know authors that are new to you.
I'm so very proud of my In the Shadow series and thrill that they are all part of this sale. If you have not had a chance to read any of my stories yet, here is what is being said about my wonderful McNeil brothers and the women that changed their understanding of the world.
In the Shadow of Greed: Review by Book Lovin Mamas
"I was literally sucked into the book and wanting to find out who was behind everything. Nancy C. Weeks did an amazing job on her debut book and I look forward to what she has in store next.
Be warned from the first page to the last page you will have a hard time putting down this book. It's full of action, suspense, romance, and a lot of tension between the characters (Jason & Sarah...because they both are not able to open up until later). I give this book 5 full moons and highly recommend it to romantic suspense fans out there. You will enjoy every minute of this cyber crime thriller by Nancy C. Weeks."
In the Shadow of Evil: Review by author Elizabeth Ford Meyette
"Heart-pounding, danger-at-every-turn action kept me riveted to this book. I recommend In the Shadow of Evil to readers who enjoy a mix of romance and suspense. I have In the Shadow of Greed loaded and ready to read on my Kindle!"
In the Shadow of Malice: Review by author Stephanie Cage
| |
"Nancy C Weeks' 'In the Shadow Of' series are ridiculously addictive reads: romantic suspense with a hint of paranormal, rather in the vein of Rebecca York or Nora Roberts."
In the Shadow of Pride: Review by InD'Tale Magazine
"Readers will appreciate [the] huge jaw-dropping twist near the very beginning of the story ... The twists and turns mixed with the romance will keep readers engaged and begging for more!" -- 5 stars, InD'Tale Magazine
In the Shadow of Vengeance: Review by author Rowena May O'Sullivan
I really love Detective Noah McNeil. He’s the kind of guy you want in your corner when faced with insurmountable odds. This book is another face paced, rollercoaster ride of suspense and romance. Loved it. |
Here is an easy link to my books. I hope you enjoy the read.

MAKE EVERY DAY VALENTINE'S DAY!
A day that celebrates love is a wonderful thing. I've been happily married to the best man in the world for thirty-three years. I'm not an expert on love or relationships, but I know one thing, my friends. I don't need grand gestures, expensive trips or gifts from the man I spend my life with. What I---and all of us---are searching for is to be with someone that knows everything about us, but loves us anyway. My sweet hubby doesn't only love me, but shows that love in small, simple ways every day. And because my mom didn't raise an idiot, I recognize those small gestures and hopefully return them tenfold.
So how do I make every day Valentine's Day? Well, that's between me and him. He's taken the time to know what I need and I have done the same thing.
Treat the person you love like you want them to treat you! That's it. The one fail-proof way to make your relationship grow into a lifelong, happy-ever-after.
Have a wonderful Valentine's Day with those you love. Here is a special cyber hug from me to you on this day of love.

AND A NEW SERIES BEGINS
Happy Saturday, Everyone!
I thought I would share with you what I've been up to lately. As you know, my McNeil's series came to an end with the release of the fifth book, In the Shadow of Vengeance. Publishing an entire series in eighteen months was an unbelievable dream come true. When it was over, I honestly didn't know what to do with myself. Part of me wanted to rush back into writing, but I hadn't a clue what to write. Besides, I had been working no stop and everything in me needed time to rest, step back and just enjoy my real world.
The next few weeks, the questions that circled around in my conscious night and day seemed endless. What type of book did I know want to write? Who did I want to write it for? Did I want to venture into the new and growing self-publishing world? Did I want to try out a new genre? Maybe my next book shouldn't be a full-length novel but something shorter, less intense like a novella or even a short story. And you can bet I drove my poor family and close friends crazy.
The one thing I completely forgot to add to my list of questions was what did I love to read?
Romantic suspense.
I love the action packed scenes that yank the characters from one near disaster to the next. And in the middle of all that chaos, I absolutely adore watching my hero and heroine fall in love across the page despite what's happening around them.
Of course, wonderful emails from readers tipped that scale enormously. For example, this one from my CONTACT ME icon:
"Are you sure "Vengeance" is going to be the last book in this series? I'm not ready for it to end. I have LOVED all of these books and wish there would be more!!Regards,
Kathy.
Well Kathy, thanks so much for your very encouraging email. You gave me the kick I needed to get back to work. I have decided on a new three book romantic suspense series that will have the most usually supernatural element. I don't have a title yet, [maybe that will be a contest for my Newsletters subscriber] but I know it will have something to do with the saying, 'See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil'. There are so many books out there with that title, I could never use it---so I'm going to have to be very clever.
Here is a little look at how I develop my characters. It's going to be hard to read but I just wanted to give you an image of how I work out the main characters in each book. Once I finish a thorough bio of all my characters, I can't help dive into serious daily writing---because they won't leave me alone until I type THE END of the last book.
I will share more about this new WIP [work in progress] in days and weeks to come. New authors, if you ever have questions about my writing process, please don't hesitate either leaving a comment below or emailing me.
Well, that's all for today. Before I leave, I want to remind everyone--as if you can't see the big pink banner--that every book in my series is on sale this month only for #$1.99. Great time to load the kindle [AMAZON only deal] for books to carry you through the last months of winter and maybe a few for lying on the warm sands this summer. Here's the link:

WHAT TO READ ON SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!!
HAPPY SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!
Tonight at 6:30 p.m. EST, I'll be sitting in front of the television with my sweet hubby and best friends watching the kick-off for the game of the year, Super Bowl XLIX, the exciting battle between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.
But unlike some Americans, I'm not a die-hard football fan. So what will I be doing besides sharing great friendship, wonderful food and a glance at the game now and then?
I'll be reading a great book. If you are like me, a part-time football fan, AND you are looking for something exciting to read, well you are in luck.
For the first time EVER, you can get the entire In the Shadow series for less than $10!! Each book for the month of February is ONLY $1.99!!
Readers always ask what order to read the In the Shadow series. This is the order my mother-in-law believes they should be read.
